As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Zac Efron (‘Baywatch: Baywatch’) starring for Disney + in a remake of the 1987 film, ‘Three men and a baby’ (Three Men and a Baby), a project to be produced by Emmy nominee Gordon Gray (‘The Rookie’, ‘The Way Back’).

The comedy was directed by Leonard Nimoy and stars Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson as three New York singles who deal with and subsequently fall in love with a baby. Based on the 1985 French film ‘Trois Hommes et un Couffin’ by Coline Serreau, the Nimoy version was written by James Orr and Jim Cruickshank. The film was a huge success for Disney, becoming the studio’s first live action film to exceed $ 100 million at the domestic box office.

« Three Men and a Baby » featured a sequel in 1990 titled « Three Men and a Little Lady, » directed by Emile Ardolino and written by Charlie Peters from a story by Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon. This film grossed $ 71 million at the worldwide box office.

Pending the possible director, Will Reichel has written the script for this new version that will have the leading role of Efron. The actor has in recent years with a multitude of projects such as ‘Scoob!’, ‘Human Discoveries’, ‘The Beach Bum’, ‘Extremely Wicked’, ‘Shockingly Evile and Vile’, ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Baywatch’, ‘Neighbors’ and many more.
