Xiaomi’s new flagship is official. The brand today presented the Mi 10 Ultra, which stands out for equipping a 120x digital zoom and offering support for fast charging at 120 W.

After weeks of rumors and leaks, we finally know all the details of the new flagship of Xiaomi. The Chinese brand today presented the Mi 10 Ultra, the maximum exponent of the Mi 10 series, which comes with an emphasis on two main aspects: the photographic equipment with a digital zoom up to 120x, and fast charging with support for charging at 120W.

As far as design is concerned, Xiaomi presents us with a terminal with a clean and minimalist appearance, in which the rear camera module has all the prominence. The front is dedicated to the 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, which has a Full HD + resolution and boasts a 10-bit color output, compared to the 8-bit of conventional panels. This allows you to reproduce 1.07 billion colors.

The brain of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the Snapdragon 865, the same that we can find in the younger brothers of the range, Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The processor is accompanied by 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal storage, depending on the configuration.

Then we leave you the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra:

Up to 120x digital zoom and fast charging at 120W

As we said at the beginning, the distinctive characteristics of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra are its powerful photographic equipment and its fast charge.

The terminal has a module with four rear cameras composed by: a 48MP main sensor 2.4 µm custom made with OIS; an ultra wide angle of 20 Mpx with a field of view of 128 degrees; a 48 megapixel ultra telephoto lens with a 120mm equivalent focal length, up to 120x digital zoom, 10x equivalent optical zoom and OIS image stabilization; a 12 Mpx telephoto lens with 50mm equivalent focal length, 2x optical zoom and dual pixel AF.

This powerful equipment, together with the intelligent functions of the software camera, allows us to obtain high quality snapshots regardless of the distance at which we are from the photographed object or if the lighting is insufficient. Also, It is capable of recording videos in 8K at 24 fps and 4K at 60 fps.

Fast charging is the other strong point of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. It equips a 4,500 mAh battery system composed of two 2,250 mAh batteries each arranged in the shape of a butterfly.

Supports 120W wired fast charging up to 41% in 5 minutes, and reaches 100% in just 23 minutes. In addition, it also offers support for 50W wireless charging and is compatible with Quick Charge 5, Quick Charge 4+ and Power Delivery 3.0. It also offers reverse charging to power other devices at 10 W.

Xiaomi moves away from its flagship killer mantra with a mobile that costs 999. It is a very high amount, but the figure is totally justified considering the performance of the processor, camera, screen and, above all, other details that we only found in the premium range .
