WWE’s NXT brand no longer has to hold its TakeOver specials with WWE pay-per-view events. Now they are filming everything from one place once again. NXT is reportedly planning another Sunday TakeOver in October.

NXT TakeOver: XXX is scheduled for August 22 in Florida, but the company reportedly already has plans for its next event.

WWE plans an NXT TakeOver for the month of October

According to Mike Johnson in the most recent PW Insider Elite edition, WWE is planning its next NXT TakeOver event for Sunday, October 4. The location and name of this event were not disclosed.

It was not stated whether this October TakeOver event will take place in place of one around the Survivor Series in November. Obviously WWE is making a lot of plans as things continue to turn around.

WWE is reportedly holding SummerSlam in a different location other than Florida. This will not be the case with TakeOver XXX. WWE is still hopeful that the COVID-19 pandemic will stabilize enough for live fans to return soon.

We’ll have to see if WWE can host an alternate venue for their October TakeOver event, or they could be running another special outside of Full Sail Arena.
