WWE is always looking for more content that they can provide to their fans. They have recently acquired a lot of video material that they will probably find many uses for, especially the WWE Network.
WWE Network will release independent content
The Sports Illustrated portal reports that WWE officials have confirmed that they have purchased the tape libraries for EVOLVE, xWx, PROGRESS and Insane Championship Wrestling. Those companies will begin broadcasting on WWE Network starting this Saturday.
This is a breakthrough for the WWE Network, as fans often wonder when content from other companies will be available. WWE has a large number of images that have not yet been published on the Network.
The new content will include “Best Of” specials. They are starting with content focused on Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee. Drew McIntyre was very excited about this announcement when he said:
“I absolutely never imagined that the matches of these companies, the places where I found myself in wrestling, will now be on the WWE Network. I hope they are as good as I remember them. “
Fans get a lot of content for $ 9.99 a month. Now they’ll apparently get a lot more, and there was no mention of a premium tier or inflated monthly subscription price to access this new content.
