WWE’s Plan B in the event Florida prohibits you from recording at the Performance Center | Fight News

The United States has the majority of COVID-19 cases in the world and the number continues to increase. The state of Florida has more than 420,000 cases of COVID-19 so far, the second highest in the country.

WWE has been holding its events from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando since the outbreak began in March. However, if the cases continue to increase at the same speed, the company may not be able to continue performing its shows on the PC.

WWE and its plan B in case of canceling the events in Florida

During WWE’s annual shareholder conference call, Vince McMahon was asked about WWE’s backup plan if the State of Florida does not allow them to hold events in the future.

McMahon said they always have a “Plan B”. Although he did not elaborate on what the backup plan is, he said there is indeed a backup plan in place.

Let me say that there is always a “plan B” that I have. I don’t want to say at the moment exactly what that would be, but yes, there is a “plan B”.

WWE has had its own problems with COVID-19 cases in the past. Many within the company tested positive for the virus.

However, the company has started regular testing since the end of June, and hopefully they will continue to test people until the pandemic ends. Either way, Vince McMahon and WWE appear to be ready to continue their programming elsewhere if the State of Florida prohibits them from holding events in Orlando.
