WWE will celebrate this week the “Women´s Evolution Week”

WWE.com has announced that this week will be the Women´s Evolution Week on all their digital media as well as on social media.

The platforms will be releasing material related to the women’s division of WWE with special dedication to the five years that was when the boom of the Women´s Evolution began, focused mainly on the four horsewomen, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley.

The company has made an official statement on its website:

Five years ago, on July 13, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks made it to Raw, signifying a turnaround for the women’s wrestling match in WWE. In honor of that historic night in sports entertainment history, WWE will celebrate Women´s Evolution Week on its digital and social channels throughout this week.
Check out WWE’s digital platforms every day this week to see thrilling moments from the women’s division in WWE, the trailblazing superstars who paved the way, and what’s in store for the fearless competitors of the future.

All this led to the creation of female events such as the two Mae Young Classic tournaments held in 2017 and 2018 and also in celebration of WWE Evolution, the only exclusively female PPV held on October 28, 2018. We must also remember that the Wrestlemania 35 main event in 2019 was a triple threat between Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey.
