As a result of this, the Opel Corsa-e also arrives, a model that shares a base with the one that concerns us today. His great rival is the Renault Zoe.

The aesthetics of Peugeot e-208 it is quite similar to the combustion versions. It only changes the name of the vehicle in the rear and the presence of the loading mouth, which is located in the same place as the fuel mouth in the traditional versions.

As with the exterior, the cabin of the Peugeot e-208 follows the same line as seen in the combustion variants. There are only some different small details and specific information that can be consulted both from the instrumentation and from the screen dedicated to the infotainment system.

The battery, despite occupying a volume of 220 liters under the floor of the trunk, it does not subtract an iota of capacity. In this way, a loading volume of 265 liters is available.

The range of Peugeot e-208 It is structured based on the same finishes as the thermal versions of the model. There are, therefore, four, with intermediate steps called Pack in all of them except the first.

The so-called Like It is the simplest of the range, and comes standard with elements such as the recognition of limit signs and speed recommendation, the collision risk alert, the automatic daytime braking, the speed governor and limiter and the pressure warning of the tires. For this finish there is no intermediate step Pack.

The finish Active It is the one that incorporates led daytime running lights, halogen headlights, leather steering wheel, grille with chrome stamped, body-color mirror caps, 7-inch touchscreen Bluetooth digital radio and analog instrument panel. The Active Pack adds rear parking aid, EcoLED headlamps, 16-inch Taskin alloy wheels, expanded traffic sign recognition, and a Peugeot i-Cockpit with 3.5-inch color display analog instrument cluster.

The next step is the finish Allure, which is the intermediate. It has automatic climate control, automatic headlights, electric handbrake, front windscreen wiper with automatic activation, hands-free starting and heated mirrors with electric adjustment and folding. To all this are added aesthetic details such as 16-inch Elborn alloy wheels, LED taillights, over-tinted rear windows and upholstery in three materials. The intermediate level Allure Pack also offers a 180º Visiopark rear view camera, automatic emergency braking – it combines the Active Safety Brake with a camera and radar – and the Peugeot Connect SOS & Assistance localized assistance and emergency call system.

In addition to the four thermal thrusters on offer, comes this electric 136 horsepower and 260 Newton meter of torque, capable of making the vehicle accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers / hour in 8.1 seconds. However, the most interesting data is that of autonomy, which is 340 kilometers according to the WLTP homologation cycle.

The battery has a capacity of 50 kilowatt hours, and on it, the lion brand ensures a guarantee of 70% of its load capacity for eight years or 160,000 kilometers. Its useful capacity is 46 kilowatt hours and it is liquid-cooled.

The Peugeot e-208 battery allows it to be recharged in a domestic socket, in a 7.4 kilowatt single-phase point, in an 11 kilowatt three-phase or in a fast charger of up to 100 kilowatts. If the load in a conventional socket is ignored, the first option requires eight hours of connection to recover 100% of the battery. The second reduces this time to five and a quarter hours, while the third allows to recover 80% of the autonomy in 30 minutes.

Serial Peugeot offers 3.7 kilowatt Green Up cable. As an option, from October 2020, a three-phase 11 kilowatt on-board cable can be purchased. This is compatible with the power socket of wall chargers that are installed in homes.
