Without a club since leaving West Ham last October, English midfielder Jack Wilshere has signed up for the Championship, with Bournemouth.
Jack wilshere has just initialed a six-month contract with Bournemouth, current 3rd in the Championship. Little used since 2018 – 20 matches played in all competitions – following numerous injuries (adductors and ankle), the England international (29 years old, 34 caps) decided in October 2020 to terminate his contract with West Ham.
Since leaving the Hammers, the midfielder has been training with Bournemouth. A club he knows well, since he played there during the 2016-2017 season (on loan from Arsenal). Author of 27 appearances for 2 assists, Wilshere had been one of the players in the club’s ninth place in the Premier League that season (best ranking in club history).
Bournemouth hope to be able to field their new recruit tomorrow for the match against Derby. For his part, Jack Wilshere will try to relaunch his career and return to the Premier League with his new club.
