From your settings you can configure some restrictions for the view of your profile photo.
Since the Facebook boom began, all users wanted to make their profiles public and exposed many details of their personal lives.
Then over the years, privacy recovered a transcendental value on many platforms and several tools were developed to protect the user.
Part of this protection consists of the possibilities of looking at the profile photo on social networks such as Facebook.
Who can see my profile picture on Facebook?
From a blog post, Facebook clarifies that your current profile photo and cover photo are public, so anyone can see them, regardless of whether they have a Facebook account or not.
When you add or change a profile photo or cover photo, it can appear in different places on Facebook:
They will be published in your bio and can appear in the news section of your friends.
Your profile photo will appear in the Profile Photos album. Your cover photo will appear in the Cover Photos album.
Next to your name, a miniature version of your profile photo will appear in different places on Facebook. This helps your friends identify your posts and comments on Facebook.
You can change the privacy settings of a photo that you used before as a profile photo or cover photo.
