Body

The Sunday day of Big leagues He gave away one of the strangest plays that can be seen in any season and not only in 2020, unprecedented for its short duration and cut innings in double games along with the extra inngs with a runner on base.

In the meeting between Angels and the Rangers, Texas outfielder Nick Solak hit a ball that hit Jo Adell’s glove and then passed the right-field fence.

At first the play was scored as a home run by Solak, with assistance – if the reference fits – by Adell.

But later the decision was modified as a mistake: a four-base error for the Angels.

Official scorer Larry Bump initially credited Solak with a home run. That changed after checking with the Elias Sports Bureau, and Adell was left with the error.

The explanation was that the play would have been declared an error elsewhere on the field if the ball did not pass over the fence, so an error was also declared on this play.
