As noted above, Santos Escobar vs. Karrion Kross was pulled from tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
Santos Escobar could be suspended
During the broadcast, Escobar said that he was not going to fight Kross this week because the match was only going to happen at the time.
Shortly after, William Regal announced that the match would take place next week. It won’t be for the Cruiserweight Championship, but if he doesn’t show up next week, he will be stripped of the title.
At this point, there is still no information on the real reason Escobar was off the show. If he doesn’t fight next week, that would indicate a problem at play, possibly an injury.
We can see what happens in the coming weeks, but without a doubt this could be an easy way out for the company. If the Mexican is injured. For now, it only remains to wait in the next program for more news.
