Although WWE has not made any pronouncement regarding WrestleMania 37 for several months, until April of this year it was known that WrestleMania, returned to Hollywood and would be held on March 28, 2021 from SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, California. However, if we consider what has happened in previous years, WWE would already be promoting the biggest event of the year, but this has not happened.
It is possible that WrestleMania 37 have a high probability of moving to Tampa, given that the original venue -SoFi Stadium- could not be available depending on what the authorities of the State of California decide between now and next March in the framework of the mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, uncertainty reigns around this event and the company has not risked making any promotion.

“LAST MINUTE: WWE plans to reschedule this year’s WrestleMania”
As stated by Sapp in Fightful Select, WWE apparently plans to hold WrestleMania 37 on April 11, 2021, instead of its original date of March 28, giving wrestling fans around the world two more weeks to wait. This, in order to achieve the objective that the event has an audience, although it was not specified in what capacity.
Additionally, Fightful is reporting that WrestleMania will not be held at the originally scheduled Los Angeles location, for obvious reasons. In addition to this, the report also says that other WWE-related venues including Tropicana Field and Amway Center (ThunderDome venues) will also not be available to host WWE’s largest pay-per-view. of the year because the regular season of the MLB and NBA, respectively, would already be playing in these scenarios.
However, the same source also noted that Raymond James Stadium, the originally planned location for WrestleMania last year, may still be available as the venue currently has no other events scheduled for the date in question. If current capacity policies are maintained, the stage could host about 15,000 fans. However, a more real indicator of this capacity could be evaluated in Super Bowl LV that will take place on February 7.

Thus, WWE will have before it an important challenge, since it needs to promote its biggest event of the year, added to the fact that in March it should vacate the Tropicana Field facilities and find a new home for their weekly programs once the professional Baseball season in the United States begins.
