Edge has always been a huge NHL fan and last night he had the opportunity to be part of the promotion of one of the games of the season. Appeared in an advertisement for the Toronto Maple Leafs as part of Hockey Night in Canada, and took the opportunity to promote the WWE brand, although it was not the only thing with which he made a profit.

The winner of the last edition of Royal Rumble made an onscreen appearance in a Jon Huber t-shirt, known in AEW as Brodie Lee and in WWE as Luke Harper, with a picture of Huber and the following text: “John Huber Forever”. Normally, this occasion would be used to dress Edge with a WWE or Toronto Maple Leafs jersey, but the wrestler preferred to pay tribute to his partner.

After the announcement, some people wondered if some of the parties would profit by having used the image of Huber, but Edge himself dispelled all kinds of doubts by ensuring that the profit from the sale of that shirt will go to the family of the lcuhador. “To all who ask, the Jon Huber Forever shirt I wore tonight is from @ViolentGents and all proceeds will go to Jon’s family. The rest are knockoffs that don’t go to his family, “Edge wrote on Twitter.

Jon Huber, known as Brodie Lee and Luke Harper in the world of professional wrestling, passed away on December 26 in Jacksonville, Florida. His departure surprised the fans and several of his teammates, who were unaware of the problems that the fighter was going through in recent weeks.
