Warner Bros. releases trailer for ‘Mortal Kombat’ the movie

Mortal Kombat fan? Then you are surely waiting for the launch of the new big screen adaptation of the popular fighting game franchise. In this regard, nothing changes from what was already known and its simultaneous release in cinemas and HBO Max is still scheduled for the next April 16th… But only in the United States.

In Spain or other countries where HBO Max is not yet available, it remains to be seen how they will do it, but everything indicates that it will be very similar: Mortal Kombat will be released in theaters, in those that are open at least, which will depend a lot on the health situation that is being handled at the time. For now it seems that the numbers accompany, but you never know.

On the other hand, there is a possibility that the film will also be released on HBO, if they repeat the formula for the “Snyder Cut” from Justice League. Nothing has been said about this assumption, but the intentions of Warner Bros. to bring together the theatrical and HBO Max releases of their next releases is there and leave HBO subscribers out, when they are supposed to want to keep them on HBO Max a Once I take over, it doesn’t seem like a sensible strategy.

In any case, we will have to wait to find out where the new movie can be seen in these parts. The novelty now is another: the publication of the first Mortal Konbat Official Uncensored Trailer… And the uncensored thing is serious: if you are one of those who enjoys the fatalities of the game, the trailer suggests that they will also be a show in the film. So do not hesitate: this will be one for adults.

Whether it is a good movie or not is another story. The 1995 one was a real mess, but also a faithful adaptation to the video game, which is not something that is always agreed and it is not something that determines the final quality of the film. From the cast and crew of Mortal Kombat, the main cast does not venture anything in special, perhaps with the exception of Hiroyuki Sanada (The Last Samurai, 47 Ronin) and in the direction is a complete stranger … which does not mean anything either.
