“WandaVision” Episode 7 Finally Reveals the Villain

WandaVision, main villain is confirmed | Marvel studios

On the third episode of “WandaVision,” Monica Rambeau informed the entire audience watching at home that the anomaly in WestView, New Jersey was being held together by Wanda Maximoff, apparently revealing that she was the villain of the series. After the last few episodes, we found out that this was not the case.

Episode 7 made its debut on Friday morning and finally proved Monica was right, confirming to the world that there is another force that pulls Wanda’s strings, and that they have much more sinister intentions.

As many theorized from the beginning of the series, there’s more to Kathryn’s Agnes Hahn from what they told us. In this episode, Agnes reveals herself as Agatha Harkness, a powerful sorceress from the pages of Marvel Comics. She has been the one behind Wanda’s collapse and the Westview trap, although we still don’t know why.

Everything Agnes has done up to this point that has felt a little bad has a reason behind it. She has been planning everything since the jump. In fact, she is responsible for the alternate version of Pietro that appears in Westview, leaving everyone in a loop. Everything is presented in a clever jingle at the end of Episode 7.

When Wanda goes down to Agness’s basement, she reveals herself saying:

« My name is Agatha Harkness », while petting her rabbit. Her eyes glow purple and she displays some magic similar to Wanda’s.

Based on Agatha’s haunting basement vibe, many are already thinking that she is working with or for Mephisto, which seems like a logical conclusion at this time.
