Vince McMahon on how WWE plans to enshrine new talent
Vince McMahon revealed that WWE plans to “promote talent more effectively,” revealing what the company plans to do to promote new talent:
“Sure, I mean you want to keep building stars no matter what the time. This is how Paul just mentioned about NXT talent. He has done an extraordinary job creating new stars, and as they continue to evolve, they will continue to make it to Raw and Smackdown. So there is the influence of new superstars entering both Raw and Smackdown, and on top of that, the ways in which we now promote talent more effectively, [con] digital and social media, as opposed to the normal way. “
Vince McMahon said that in the absence of fans, whom he referred to as the “third performer in the ring,” WWE will continue to use “social and digital footprint.”
WWE has moved several NXT Superstars to RAW and SmackDown in 2020, with characters like Matt Riddle, Austin Theory, and Angel Garza, to name a few.
