US Embassy opens scholarship program for Hondurans

Through their social networks, the United States Embassy in Honduras, made a call for all Hondurans interested in studying in that country to participate in a program, which will award scholarships from the Humphrey System.

The call is focused on academics who want to study a postgraduate degree in the United States.

Scholarship Hubert H. Humphrey is a program that allows foreigners to carry out higher academic studies and research in various educational centers in United States.

How to apply?

For those interested who want to apply, they must fill out a form and meet the following requirements:

Be Honduran and live in the country Have a degree Proficiency in English Have previously visited the US Have a good academic background Have at least five years of experience in the area of ​​study, in which you want to apply for the scholarship The academic must have leadership characteristics and passion for the studies

Hondurans have until July 31, 2021, to be able to submit the application for the scholarship.

Those selected for the Hubert H. Humphrey scholarship will be able to study in the United States between 2022 and 2023, in addition, the program lasts 10 months.

The program

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program was established in 1978, and brings together around 140 leaders from around the world in the United States. Therefore, its ultimate goal is to facilitate academic and professional experiences that allow its fellows to expand their knowledge of the United States.

In other words, the program seeks to bring professionals with leadership potential in the intermediate stage of their career to a non-credit graduate program and professional collaboration.
