According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, UEFA has sent a formal statement to PSG in which it qualifies as ‘inappropriate conduct’ the celebration of the pass to the quarterfinals of the Parisian team’s Champions, since in the celebration the players of the French team imitated the player Haaland, making this a provocative object.

The UEFA disciplinary body decided not to sanction PSG for the conduct of its players as it only dedicated itself to sending them a warning for their unsportsmanlike behavior after winning the round of 16. The mockery towards Haaland was not well regarded by fans and institutions, which is why UEFA did not overlook this fact.

PSG is still waiting for the competition to resume, with the covid-19 epidemic, UEFA decided to suspend its competing tournaments. Keys are still to be completed to decree the eight classified to the quarterfinals. It must be emphasized that PSG, after its victory against Dortmund, achieved its pass to the quarterfinals after three years being eliminated in the round of 16.
