Two bodies on a sidewalk in Santiago Cuautlalpan, Texcoco

The bodies of two individuals were found shot on a sidewalk in the town of Santiago Cuautlalpan, in the municipality of Texcoco.

The incident occurred in Ignacio Allende Street, when police officers found two bodies belonging to two men, in the middle of a pool of blood and with gunshot wounds to the head.

The versions of the event suggest that three men were drinking alcoholic beverages on the public highway when unknown subjects arrived at the scene and opened fire on the individuals, riddling two of them, leaving them dead on the spot, while a third, although wounded, he managed to escape.

Emergency elements arrived at the place, who determined that the subjects had lost their lives, while witnesses to the event mentioned that on the alley that is just 20 meters from the place where the bodies were left there was a Vento motorcycle, belonging to the third individual who allegedly escaped.

Members of the police cordoned off the area, while elements of the Homicide Specialized Prosecutor’s Office of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico arrived at the scene to carry out the corresponding removal of the bodies and initiate the corresponding investigation.

It is not the first time that this kind of account adjustment and executions have occurred among members of criminal groups in the Texcoco area, since in recent months there have been more cases like this, such as what happened last December, when elements of a criminal group they shot a house and posted two narco messages aimed at controlling drug sales.
