The legendary Scottish gang Travis present their second advance single Valentine. New theme that will appear inside the album ’10 Songs’, planned its edition, for BMG, next October 9.

After the great reception – more than 250.00 visits in Youtube– from their first single ‘A Ghost’ (click here to see the original video), now comes Valentine, a new topic about the challenges that love exposes you to.

The new album ’10 Songs’ is co-produced by Fran Healy and Robin Baynton (Coldplay, Florence & The Machine) Recorded in RAK Studios during last Christmas. ’10 Songs’ is an album about how life comes to love and what love does to overcome different challenges.

The album has collaborations such as the voice of Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles, the synthesizers of Jason Lytle of Grandaddy and the “Lap Steel” of Greg Leisz (Beck, Emmylou Harris, Bruce Springsteen).

With ’10 Songs’, a new chapter begins in the extraordinary and prolific musical career of Travis. A great job that serves to refloat one of the most important bands in the UK. With a band that maintains its four original components from the beginning.

Twenty-five years have passed since the four members of Travis they first stepped on a rehearsal room. In this time they have sold millions of records, they were honored with the documentary ‘Almost Fashionable’ and the compositions of Fran have received praise from Paul McCartney, Elton John or Graham Nash.

’10 Songs’ will be available in CD and Vinyl heavy grammage. There will also be an edition in 2CD Deluxe and 2LP Deluxe (red and blue vinyl), including 10 songs in demo format.
