Trailer and poster for ‘The Godfather, Epilogue: The Death of Michael Corleone’

Outstanding image

Under the title of ‘The Godfather, Epilogue: The Death of Michael Corleone’, Francis Ford Coppola gives us a new montage of the last part of the pica triloga based on the novels by Mario Puzo that includes a new beginning and a new ending, as well as various changes in some scenes, plans and even a musical track.

The new edition reflects Mario Puzo and Coppola’s original intentions on ‘The Godfather: Part III‘and offers, in Coppola’s words, “a more appropriate conclusion to the first and second parts of the trilogy.” In addition, the movie’s image and sound have been meticulously restored under the supervision of American Zoetrope and Paramount Pictures.

His argument follows a Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) who is already 60 years old, and who only wants to protect his family from the crime that surrounds them and find the best successor for his emporium. That could be the vehement Vincent (Andy Garcia), but it could also be the spark that will turn Michael’s hope of having a legitimate company into a hell of violence …

Starring Al Pacino as Michael Corleone, Diane Keaton as Kay Adams, Andy Garcia as Vincent Mancini, Franc D’Ambrosio as Anthony Vito Corleone, Bridget Fonda as Grace Hamilton, George Hamilton as BJ Barrison, Joe Mantegna as Joey Zaza, Talia Shire as Connie Corleone Rizzi, Eli Wallach as Don Altobello and Sofia Coppola as Mary Corleone, the premiere in Spain of ‘The Godfather, Epilogue: The Death of Michael Corleone’, both in cinemas and on digital platforms, is scheduled for this same month of December 2020.

Here is its official trailer, both dubbed into Spanish and in the original version, as well as a featurette.
