Tour de France 2020 :

In the aftermath of a redefinition of the general classification and of a most intense duel between Primoz Roglic and Tadej Pogacar, the fight for the yellow jersey resumes on tricky grounds.

No rest for the brave, the journey in Savoy continues with an ascent to ever steeper passes. The peloton will certainly not be in the same conditions as at the start of the Tour, and the attacks are likely to focus on more “easy” passes such as the Cormet de Roselend, the Col des Saisies and the Col des Aravis. And for the more courageous, the Montée du Plateau des Glières promises to be quite a task. This ascent is 6 km at more than 11% on average with passages at 15%. The wall is interminable and as a bonus, it is surmounted by a stony rising false flat of 1800 meters, to put the runners in the red, before the technical descent to La Roche-sur-Foron … and a new climb, no -listed to break the pace: the Col des Fleuries, a 7 km long climb at almost 5% average.
