The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced on Tuesday the collaboration agreement with private hospitals in the country, for the care of Covid-19 and other diseases. This is a new agreement that was already in place, signed last April, where private health centers provided free care to people with other conditions, except coronavirus.

“We are going to announce how this terrible disease is, and after it is reported we will also announce, The representatives of the private health sector, the owners and representatives of private hospitals are here, because we are going to expand the agreement we have to guarantee better care for those affected by Covid, Now we have more beds available in the public sector, what is being done is to leave hospitals where there are better doctors, more experienced, more equipment, where more lives can be saved, And it has also been chosen so that in private hospitals also seriously ill from Covid be treated, this was not contemplated in the first stage of the agreement, patients with other ailments were treated to free beds in public hospitals and care for Covid patients.
