The teen romance trilogy To All the Boys comes to an end with the premiere of the latest chapter based on the New York Times bestseller by Jenny Han. Recently, the ‘N’ streaming giant announced in a video full of stars all the premieres that would be available on its platform in 2021 and one of the titles presented there was the culmination of the adventures of Lara Jean and Peter. The good news is that it did not have to wait long since the announcement was made, as a first trailer is already available.
Next, we present these facts you should know about the premiere of To All the Boys 3: Forever.
What is it about?
True to its original story, this new installment will remain within the romantic comedy genre, but this time, the protagonists will face the changes that come in later stages of life.
The official synopsis dictates the following:
« As Lara Jean Covey prepares to graduate and become an adult, a couple of transformative journeys lead her to imagine what her life will be like with her family, with her friends, and with Peter after graduation. »
This film brings together many people who have already worked in this universe: to begin with, Michael Fimognari will be present as director, who was in charge of the second part. It should be noted that the director also serves as a cinematographer. On this occasion, regular writer Sofia Álvarez does not return to shape the script, but is replaced by Katie Lovejoy (Dead Inside).
What is striking, and is one of the most interesting facts about To All Boys 3: Forever, is that is produced by Overbrook Entertainment, a production company founded by Will Smith, so even though we don’t see him present in the credits, we can be sure that the Prince of Rap had some kind of involvement.
For this chapter they return Lana Condor (X-Men Apocalypse), Noah Centineo (The Perfect Date), Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars), Anna Cathcart (Descendants 3), Ross Butler (Shazam!), Madeleine Arthur (Big Eyes), Sarayu Blue (Blockers ) and John Corbett (Portlandia).
Condor, who plays the lead, Lara Jean, told the Entertainment Tonight portal (via):
We finished on a very, very good note. I am eternally grateful for the character and I am very excited for people to see the third movie, because I think the third is my favorite of the three. I think we’ve watched Lara Jean grow and me through these movies and I’m proud of how we ended up with her. I have hope for your future. […] Particularly in the third film we see a lot of personal growth for Lara Jean ».
The film will be released on February 12, 2021, courtesy of the Scarlet Titan of Movies Online.
To all the boys I fell in love with fun facts
José Roberto Landaverde Cinephile and music lover. I love writing, listening, reading and commenting on everything related to the seventh art. I think Fleetwood Mac is underrated. I’m a Rocky and Back to the Future fan and obviously one day I’ll go up the « Philly Steps » and drive a DeLorean. Faithful believer that the cinema is the best teleportation machine, and also that on the big screen we can all see ourselves represented.
