Malaga, with 105 confirmed cases related to an immigration reception center, is the most affected province. Seven outbreaks are in the control phase and six are in the investigation phase, in the provinces of Granada, Malaga, Cádiz, Huelva and Almería. In the last 24 hours, 20 positives for PRC have been added and there have been no deaths due to the disease, according to data released this Thursday by the Ministry of Health and Families.

The update of data at 07.00 this Thursday by this department adds two new outbreaks in the last 24 hours in Pomegranate capital with five and six confirmed cases, which adds to others four under investigation, with contact study and testing, and seven in control phase.

The five outbreaks under investigation from previous days are located one in the health district of Malaga, which maintains 105 confirmed cases –without changes in 24 hours–, linked to the Emergency Reception and Referral Center managed by the Red Cross; and four in the metropolitan area of ​​Granada, with seven, six, nine, and five confirmed cases.

In the control phase, the outbreak continues in the Malaga district of the Axarquia, which maintains seven confirmed cases, and two in the metropolitan district of Pomegranate with 15 and nine confirmed cases, unchanged in 24 hours. They have been joined since last Sunday by two in Lepe (Huelva) with ten confirmed cases, and in the district Levante-Alto Almanzora de Almería, with four. Previously they were already controlled in the Campo de Gibraltar with 25 confirmed cases, linked to a pension and the headquarters of an NGO in Algeciras (Cádiz), and another in the district of Pomegranate capital, with 28 confirmed cases -one more in 24 hours-.
