Right in childhood! This is how the arrival of Disney + in Latin America has fallen for adults thanks to some of the series that marked their childhood.
And it is not for less if we remember some of the characters that head these shows of the two thousand: Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire and Raven Baxter.
But among all the excitement and nostalgia of the moment, if something has been wrong for us veterans, the new entertainment platform is with its lack of seasons of “The Simpsons.”
For fans of the yellow family there is no hope of seeing some of its classic episodes as only seasons 29 and 30 are available, which has aroused comments of all kinds through Twitter from those who feel disappointed (and scammed) by the Mickey Mouse creator company.
However, while we wait for the arrival of more chapters of “The Simpsons” these are some of the old but beautiful series:
“Hannah Montana,” available seasons 1-4. Starring Miley Cirus as Miley Stewart who leads a double life as a normal teenager and as music star Hannah Montana. The series was launched in 2006 and concluded in 2011 and as we know it catapulted Cyrus’s career.
“Lizzie McGuire”, seasons 1 and 2 available. Around 2001 a little Hilary Duff starred in this series for Disney Channel, where we saw her in her day to day life as a student, daughter of a family and friend. In addition to the humor that characterizes it, something that undoubtedly refers us to this series is the presence of a Lizzie made with animation that is something like the alter ego of the protagonist.
“It’s so Raven”, available seasons 1 to 4. A series that stood out not only for the plot, also focused on young people, but for having a cast mostly of actors of color.
The story set in San Francisco followed Raven Baxter (Raven-Symoné) who had psychic powers.
“The Wizards of Waverly Place”, available seasons 1 to 4. The Latino presence has not been lacking in Disney history and this series is an example as it is centered on a family of wizards with Italian-Mexican roots. Here we see Selena Gomez as the protagonist, who plays Alex Russo who along with his brothers Justin and Max are learning about the world of magic.
“Zack and Cody: Twins in Action”, available seasons 2 and 3. The twins Zack and Cody Martin (Dylan and Cole Sprouse) live at the Tipton Hotel where they never tire of mischief; There they are accompanied by characters like Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale) and Carey Martin (Kim Rhodes), mother of the twins.
“The Simpsons”, seasons 29 and 30 available. As we sadly mentioned, for those who follow this series since its inception there are only two seasons, but for those who are fans of red bone something is something and the episodes of these two installments as well as the short film starring Maggie Simpson, can be enjoyed in the app.
