There will be sequels to Extraction, according to Chris Hemsworth. Through his social networks, the actor was quite excited when talking about his experience filming the first part. What was his enthusiasm for? The red “N” movie won the Best Action Hero category at the People’s Choice Awards.

So much was his joy that, during his acceptance speech for the award, the Australian, known for his role as Thor in the MCU, may have dropped a small spoiler about the fate of the franchise produced by the Russo brothers. Here is a fragment of his words (via):
“We wanted to make a film that was different, unique, exciting and action packed, but pushed things to another level and I think we did it, but it wouldn’t have been possible without your support. I will be in your debt forever. It was one of the most incredible experiences I had on set, we will try to make a couple more for you”.
By saying “a couple”, are you referring to two more sequels, or to several? It is too early to say, but what is known is that both the streaming platform and the production team involved have in mind to continue squeezing the story, and the reality is that they do not rule out even a sequel, a plan that we had already reported right here. It is very likely to be done.
For his part, Joe Russo confirmed several months ago that he was already writing the script for some kind of expansion, although he was reluctant to mention whether the events will be located in the future or in the past.
Sequels to Extraction are already planned.
Speaking of other things, aside from confirming the Extraction sequels, Chris Hemsworth will be in Mad Max spin-off on Furiosa, while the Russos will direct The Gray Man.

I’m a Rocky and Back to the Future fan and obviously one day I’ll go up the “Philly Steps” and drive a DeLorean. Faithful believer that the cinema is the best teleportation machine, and also that on the big screen we can all see ourselves represented.
