The Washington Wizards of Russell westbrook lost Monday’s game to the San Antonio Spurs, but the point guard at least set a record in the NBA during defeat 146-143.
As ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth noted, the UCLA product finished with its twelfth triple-double in the month of April, beating Wilt Chamberlain’s 1968 record for the most triple-doubles in a single month.
Russell westbrook suggested to reporters that fans shouldn’t just take their triple doubles for granted:
“Honestly, I think there is no player like me and if people want to take it for granted, I feel sorry for them.

Triple-doubles records are nothing new for the point guard, who recorded 22 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds against the Spurs.
