The animated video for “Apple Blossom”

It seems like yesterday when The White Stripes was one of the spoiled bands of the channels that showed videos. And it is that if we make a particular semblance, we can realize that Jack White and Meg White they liked the idea of using, from time to time, animations of all kinds as in “Fell In Love with a Girl” or even “Seven Nation Army”.

To that animated videography we can add a new effort with the clip that came out today for the song “Apple Blossom”, which rescues many characteristic visual elements of the band. And it is that the video could not fit better with the lyrics of the song. The clip shows us the story of a desperate woman who tries to leave behind a stormy life, but even this escape has quite complicated passages for our protagonist.

Through the sequences, we observe that the girl is shipwrecked on a coast where Jack White himself, hidden in a lighthouse, rescues her. It is then that we realize that fate may have planned them to come together, well the mysterious woman seems to take Jack’s heart to give him color again -literally- and together they embark on a journey to a new life.
