The Atlanta Hawks They are one of the young, contender projects expected to be active in the market after successfully ending their playoff drought and reaching the Eastern Conference Finals this past season.
The NBA rumors indicate that its main objective is to add a star and the name that is taking the strongest is Jimmy Butler after a not so good course with Miami Heat. The Hawks are expected to be more aggressive in building a title-contending team around Bring young and with Butler they would go a long way.
In a recent article, NBA Analysis Network’s Greg Patuto suggested one way the Hawks could acquire the Miami star this summer. It won’t be at a low price, but if they want to take the next step they need to bring in a top-tier player in the league.
In the proposed trade scenario, the Hawks would send a package that includes Bogdan Bogdanovic, De’Andre Hunter, Onyeka Okongwu, the 20th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, a 2023 first-round pick, a 2025 first-round pick, and the rights to trade first-rounders in 2024 to the Heat in exchange for Butler.

Is the trade worth it for Atlanta?
Trading all of those assets would be a tough decision for the Hawks, but it would be worth it if it means acquiring an established superstar like Butler, who would provide leadership to a youth team and improve their performance on both ends of the court.
