The national government decided to give the second dose of Spunitk V vaccine to the people who were part of the VIP vaccination and they were inoculated with the first dose. They are those who did it without previous shifts or who did not belong to the risk groups that the State organized in the vaccination schedule throughout the country.
In the Casa Rosada they understand that it makes no sense to deny them and that, eventually, the vaccinated could initiate a lawsuit against the Argentine state because they received the vaccine in an official agency, such as the Ministry of Health, or a public hospital, such as Posadas.
“The logical thing is to give them. There is no reason not to “, official sources explained. In the ruling party they want to leave behind as soon as possible the scandal that unleashed the distribution of vaccines at the discretion of the former health authorities.

This afternoon the Ministry of Health will provide the list of people who were vaccinated at the Posadas Hospital, in order to make transparent the number of vaccinated and the names of those who received it. It is one more step on the way to try to recover, slowly, the credibility of the vaccination plan.
According to government sources, the list to be released includes “Decision-making authorities, strategic personnel and also mistakes that have been made” in granting shifts.
