As planned, this July 27 Google has announced the winners of its Indie Games Festival, the competition in which developers from around the world face each other for leading their titles to be the best indie games of the year.
Among all the finalists, Google has selected the nine winners, three from each of the participating regions: Europe, Japan and South Korea. All winners will receive different prizes that will help them continue their journey in the world of mobile video game creation, ranging from sessions with experts from the Google Play team, Google hardware, promotional campaigns in the app store and more.

Winners of Europe

Afterburn inbento (Poland): An addictive game where you must play with food, making homemade recipes and enjoying a tender culinary history.
The White Door of Rusty Lake (Netherlands): This game puts you in the shoes of Robert Hill after waking up in a mental health institute, suffering from severe amnesia. You must follow the strict daily routine of the institute, exploring his dreams and helping him to recover his memories.
GIGAFALL from Shiki Game Studio– Control satellite lasers that orbit the Earth and destroy meteorites, all in one game with fantastic 8-bit graphics.
METBOY! by REBUILD GAMES: Take control of a « METBOY » with a « Blade Met » and venture into « Metland », in a game with retro graphics reminiscent of those on classic consoles.
