How many users does Nintendo Switch Online have?

It is worth remembering that Nintendo Switch Online already had more than 10 million subscribers in July 2019. Later, in May of this year, Shuntaro Furukawa claimed that the service already had 15 million accounts.

During its most recent corporate report, Nintendo spoke about its online services and the growth they have had in recent months. The company confirmed that the number of subscribers to its service continues to grow steadily as does Switch sales.

The report confirmed that Nintendo Switch Online already has more than 26 million users with a paid subscription. The company noted that this growth is due to important titles that have functions or online game modes.

During the presentation a slide was shown highlighting the contributions to the service of games such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokémon Sword & Shield and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

“Membership has grown with hardware sales steadily, with peaks caused by hit titles that support online gaming. Our consumer base has rapidly adopted this service in the 2 years since its launch, ”Nintendo noted.

Due to the success of the service, the company is committed to pushing more Switch Online in the future so that its consumers are satisfied with its benefits. For this they plan to launch attractive titles that enrich the platform.
