Immobile exhibition and comfortable victory of a Lazio who is late to the fight for the ‘Scudetto’. The goals of Immobile, on three occasions, Milinkovic-Savic and Correa served to cancel the initial goal of a weak Hellas Verona. With this hat-trick, the forward of ‘Las Águilas’ remains in first place in his private fight with Cristiano Ronaldo for being the ‘Capocannoniere’ and he stands with the same goals as Robert Lewandowski for the achievement of the Golden Boot.

The first few bars of the clash were in full control of Verona. Ivan Juric’s team was looking for their first post-confinement victory against a Lazio who wants to finish the championship in second place. The first local chance came with a cross shot from Eysseric that went off near the left post of Strakosha’s goal. Immobile responded quickly with a powerful kick from outside the area that grazed the crossbar.
The meeting did not have a clear dominator. The cast directed by Simone Inzaghi I couldn’t find Luis Alberto and Milinkovic-Savic, its main game directors. Those of Verona, for their part, were searching hard for a Borini who was too isolated among the visiting defenders. Until now, Marc ’Antonio Bentegodi witnessed a soporific duel between two teams that arrived at the appointment with their duties completed.
The script of the game changed radically a few minutes before the break. It all started with a huge mistake by Luis Felipe that tripped Zaccagni very awkwardly inside the area, committing a penalty. After VAR approval, Amrabat transformed the maximum penalty and released his particular locker as a scorer in the championship.
Shortly after, in the first half discount, Hellas Verona returned the favor to Lazio by taking a new penalty. After reviewing the action on the VAR screen, referee Manuel Volpi pointed out the maximum penalty in favor of ‘Las Águilas’ for a hand from Lazovic inside the area. The shot from eleven meters was marked by Ciro Immobile thus equaling the result.
Hellas Verona came out better after passing through the dressing rooms, but it was the Whites who took the lead in a very unfortunate action for the locals. Milinkovic-Savic executed a distant free kick that hit Pissano’s back before hitting the back of the net. Lazio had turned the electronic with two actions to set pieces and with the law of minimum effort.
The set of Simone Inzaghi, with many spaces to run, ended the win with a good cross shot by Joaquín Correa and with two more goals by Ciro Immobile. The first, a work of art from outside the area, and the second, again from the penalty spot. The Italian striker has 34 goals and remains ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in his fight to be the ‘Capocannoniere’.
