The Sinking City was an adventure horror game that debuted for the last generation of consoles in 2019. The title was not very well received by critics, however, players found that the experience could be extremely enjoyable, particularly because of its mysterious and intriguing narrative.

Frogwares, developers behind this game, have just suddenly confirmed that a native version of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will be available … tomorrow? So is, The Sinking City will have its own next-gen version that you can purchase in less than 24 hours within the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Unfortunately, its creators confirmed that it will not be a free upgrade if you already have the title.

This improved version of The Sinking City will run in native resolution of 4K and 60FPS. One of the most consistent criticisms the game received had to do with its terrible performance on next-gen consoles, so now we can anticipate better performance on new platforms.
