At the British GP press conference, the Racing Point team did not have one of its drivers present. It was the Mexican Sergio Pérez, who did not attend the Silverstone Circuit because he isolated himself after an “inconclusive” result of the COVID-19 test.
The exam was conducted before this event and Checo is now awaiting a new test to find out his condition and confirm his participation in the Grand Prix this weekend.
UPDATE: @SChecoPerez is not at the circuit today following an inconclusive test result.
He is self-isolating awaiting the results of a retest. # F1 #BritishGP

The FIA and F1 have been extremely demanding of biosecurity protocols. In their last statement they reported that a total of 1,461 tests had been carried out between July 17 and 23 on pilots, teams and personnel. Of these, none was positive. These results are made public every seven days.
