Described as “crazy” by Jean-Yves Le Drian in an SMS initially intended for Emmanuel Macron, Ségolène Royal reacted in the columns of the Parisian to the blunder of the minister. And she did not fail to throw him a scathing tackle.

He did not qualify her as “crazy” but … On July 6, Barbara pompili was appointed Minister of Ecological Transition in the new government of Jean Castex. A position that could have gone to Ségolène Royal, if it had unanimity, especially withEmmanuel Macron. Proposed by Jean-Yves Le Drian, responsible for recruiting left-wing women for this reshuffle, Ségolène Royal was simply dismissed by the President of the Republic. A choice approved by the Minister of Foreign Affairs who replied: “Pompili very well, it’s still better than the other madwoman of Ségo”, reported the Canard Enchaîné.

A message that could have gone completely unnoticed if … Jean-Yves Le Drian had sent it to Emmanuel Macron, and not to Ségolène Royal herself. However, if the latter has confirmed the blunder of the minister with the Parisian, on newsstands Thursday, July 30, she would not have been described as “crazy”, ensuring in passing that she was not the one who sent this SMS to the Duck Chained. “Had I spoken to someone who would have repeated it, I do not know”, she said in the columns of the daily.

Ségolène Royal: “We never say that for a man!”

However, if Jean-Yves Le Drian did not qualify her as “crazy”, the real qualifier used did not fail to inspire Ségolène Royal with a scathing little tackle: “As soon as women disturb or we do not Do not control them, they say they are crazy. We never say that for a man! “, deplores the former minister, who a few days before the reshuffle clarified having been called by a relative ofEmmanuel Macron to integrate the government. An assertion denied by the Elysee Palace, which subsequently acknowledged having had “contacts with members of the majority but not with the president or his close associates. The president has respect and consideration for Ségolène Royal”, assured the presidential palace.
