The Ghost didn’t do so well; Well, despite being nominated in 3 categories, he did not take any awards home.
The same happened with Chiquis Rivera, who was nominated as Artist of the Year in the Mexican regional category and as Cumbia Song of the Year.
Among the presentations of the night was also that of the singer-songwriter Victor Manuelle.
He was joined by La India, and together they appropriated the transmission to perform the song “Víctimas las dos” with a show loaded with rhythm.
Gloria Trevi took the palms of the night when her career was recognized and that in her thank you speech, she revealed that one of her children is sick with Covid-19, and took the opportunity to dedicate her triumph to them.
Although Ivy Queen was ready to take the stage and receive the award for female artist of the year of the urban genre, she had to accept that Karol G was the winner.

Randy Malcom and Alexander Delgado from Gente De Zona did not win any awards either, but that did not dampen their smiles.
Who did show something serious, more empowered was Farina, in an elegant white two-piece dress that left her abdomen exposed.
And finally, the one who came back stomping was Paulina Rubio. The golden girl won the award for Cumbia Song of the Year with Raymix, with the song “Tú y yo”.
