2021 marks the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, and last Nintendo Direct we had our first look at a celebration for the series. The presentation confirmed DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, some special edition Joy-Con and, after several rumors, Skyward Sword HD. Nevertheless, an industry insider has mentioned that this is just the beginning.
A rumor has circulated for a long time of a collection similar to the Super Mario 3D All-Stars, but made up of HD versions of Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker. In this way, Andy Robinson, journalist of VGC and producer of Yooka-Laylee, has mentioned that The other two titles in this supposed compilation will also arrive on Nintendo Switch this year.
For those disappointed with the Skyward Sword remaster, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are 100% coming this year. So that’s at least one good 3D Zelda.

However, at the moment it is unknown if this will be in the form of a collection or if Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker will arrive separately, similar to Skyward Sword HD. At the moment this is just a rumor and there is no official confirmation from Nintendo. Considered the anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, it is very likely that this year a special Direct will take place, similar to Mario in 2020, where the plans for the celebration of the series are revealed. It’s just a matter of waiting.
