Roland Garros it will be played with the public between September 21 and October 11. The French Tennis Federation has confirmed this Thursday that there will be fans in the stands of the Parisian tournament but it will be restricted.

« The number of spectators admitted to the stadium will be between 50 and 60% of the usual capacity », affirmed the FFT that already announced a few weeks ago that playing without an audience was not an option. In this way, it was also announced that this reduction in fans will help to respect the security measures.

Ticket sales will begin next July 9 and the organization has reserved the right to later cancel tickets if the precautionary measures imposed by the pandemic so require, but also to increase sales if the possibility arises.

The two circuits, the men’s ATP and the women’s WTA, have been suspended for several months and the intention of both is for professional tennis to resume in August. The US Open, the first ‘big’ after the restart, will begin on August 31 in New York and it will be held behind closed doors.
