RING OF HONOR WILL RETURN TO TELEVISION PRODUCTION THIS MONTH IN MARYLAND
With the safety and health of talent, staff and production equipment at the forefront, Ring of Honor Wrestling will return to producing new episodes of the “Ring of Honor Wrestling” television show in August 2020 in the home state of Maryland.
ROH will adhere to a very strict protocol, as well as regulations set forth by the Maryland State Athletic Commission. ROH will institute the necessary tests and safety measures in an ongoing effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There will be no non-production-essential fans or staff present during these events.
“Taking care of our people during this difficult time has been and continues to be our number one priority,” said ROH COO Joe Koff. “That is why we have spent many weeks working together with the Maryland state commission to move towards our return to producing wrestling action. The strictest protocols, tests and measures will be implemented to ensure this directive ”.
The last Ring of Honor events were the canceled 18th Anniversary and Past vs Present shows in Las Vegas on March 13-14. Since then, the company has chosen to cease recording operations until there is a safe way to resume them. These new recordings will pick up right where ROH left off with a focus on ROH’s PURE Title Tournament, which had originally been scheduled for April.
