Resident Evil Village is shaping up to be one of the essential games for all users of the new consoles. In addition to making use of ray-tracing technology and SSD memories, Capcom’s new title will also take advantage of the unique features of the DualSense, as well as 3D audio on the PlayStation 5.

According to the official Resident Evil Village site on the PS Blog, Players will be able to feel the weight and recoil of gun triggers for a more immersive experience, this thanks to adaptive triggers. On the other hand, haptic feedback will simulate the feeling of firing every gun in the game.

Regarding audio, 3D Tempest technology will be used to improve “the experience of making you feel like chilling sounds are coming from everywhere”. The Maiden demo, which arrived on PS5 yesterday, is a great example of this, since you will feel that a terrifying creature is following you closely at all times, although this preview does not demonstrate the characteristics of the DualSense.

Resident Evil Village will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC on May 7, 2021. You can check our gameplay of the demo of this title here. Similarly, an analysis has revealed the performance of this advance.
