According to his father, Sergio Ramos is “totally optimistic” that he will stay at Real Madrid next season.
While the question of his future is at the center of all the rumors in Madrid at the moment, Sergio ramos refused to appear at a press conference on Monday, contrary to what was expected. But the Spanish press managed to reach the player’s father, who was quite clear on the subject.
Asked by Sexta, he said he was “totally optimistic” about the fact that Ramos finds an agreement with the Real for a contract extension. The father of the Spanish defender is “confident” that he will stay in Madrid. There would even be “no doubt”, according to him.

Does PSG have a chance?
It’s a big blow to the Paris Saint Germain, who was cited as the main contender in the event of Ramos leaving. And this accredits the hypothesis that it is the Ramos clan itself which would have leaked information concerning PSG, in order to put pressure on Real.
Ramos should therefore extend his contract with Real. But when ? According to Marca, the captain of the White House is expected to meet his president, Florentino Perez, on the occasion of the trip to Villarreal this weekend. The two men will have the opportunity to discuss. And if that should go wrong, the Parisian track will return to the press fairly quickly.
