Through his social networks the director Jordan Peele has revealed the title and also a first poster of which will be his third film project after the successful ‘Let me go out’ and ‘We’. With a premiere scheduled for July 22, 2022, the mysterious poster full of symbolism reveals what the title of the film will be,‘Nope’.
At the moment there are no details about the possible plot, although it has been confirmed that the film, to be distributed by Universal Pictures, will follow the same vein as his first two projects as a director, with terrifying and subversive stories full of socially conscious themes in when it comes to race and society. If we focus on the posted poster, we see a storm cloud lingering over a city, with a line of colorful pennants flowing from it.
Regarding the cast, this time Pee will have Daniel Kaluuya (who already worked with the director on ‘Let me out’), Keke Palmer (‘Hustlers’) and Steven Yeun (‘Minari. My family’s story’). As a curiosity, it should be said that it will be the first great summer release for the filmmaker, since his two previous projects arrived in winter.
