On the occasion of the reception of Meshkov Brest, PSG signed a fourth success in a row in the Champions League (33-26) and confirms their recovery before the final phase.
PSG is well and truly launched in the Champions League. While the pressure of a possible elimination from the group stage is definitely removed, players Raul Gonzalez Gutierrez took advantage of the reception of Meshkov Brest to continue their streak of victories on the European stage. Taking advantage of Kamil Syprzak’s strike force (7 goals on 8 shots), the Capital club took control from the start on the scoreboard, taking four goals in advance ten minutes from half-time. A PSG who however had to quickly do without the services of a hard-hitting Dylan Nahi (2 goals on 3 shots) who very quickly took two exclusions for two minutes. The teammates of Stas Skube (4 goals on 8 shots), who had been announced for a time on the side of the Parisian club to compensate for the injury absence of Nikola Karabatic, were able to return to two lengths before half-time. From the start of the second act, the Parisians took four steps ahead … then experienced a real air hole.
Oops, we forgot 1. so that’s 8!

PSG played to scare themselves before ensuring
For a little more than four minutes, Raul Gonzalez Gutierrez’s players suffered the game, missed shots by Dainis Kristopans (2 goals on 5 shots), lost Dylan Nahi for a third temporary exclusion and conceded six goals to see Meshkov Brest to pass in the score for the first but especially the only time of the match. Because the teammates of Mikita Vailupau (8 goals on 11 shots) and Vladimir Vranjes (6 goals on 6 shots) saw Yann Genty (9 saves at 41% efficiency) rise in temperature and stop three consecutive shots to allow Benoît Kounkoud (8 goals on 9 shots), Nedim Remili (4 goals on 9 shots) and Mikkel Hansen (3 goals on 4 shots) to shoot Ivan Matskevich (7 saves at 18% efficiency. The result was a 6-0 which put PSG in the right direction and totally annihilated Meshkov Brest’s hopes of victory. The end of the match was much quieter for the Parisians who won by seven goals (33-26), their fourth success of rank in the Champions League, which allows them to come back to one point behind their evening opponent with four games less. PSG have returned to the fight for the top places in their group, with the hope of entering the phase final with a favorable picture.
