Sony Playstation 5 :
A little over a week ago Microsoft launched the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S that give the starting gun to their new generation of consoles marked, above all, by the power of Series X and by the service Game pass.
If after the launch of their new machines at Microsoft they had reason to smile, today they have twice the reason for it since today marks 15 years since the launch of Xbox 360, probably its most popular console that hit the stores on November 22, 2005.
This was the second game console created by Microsoft and was developed in collaboration with IBM and ATI (shortly before being acquired by AMD for its graphics division now known as Radeon) having as one of its peculiarities being compatible with most USB peripherals thanks to its USB 2.0 ports, being able to use most of its peripherals anywhere. Windows PC.
Five different models and countless great games
Xbox 360 had a total of five different models in its life until the last two, Slim and Elite, put an end to the production of the console in 2016, by which time the company had managed to exceed the 84 million units sold (this data being from June 2014).
In addition, for Xbox 360 came some of the best exclusive games in Xbox history such as the first Gears of War, some of the best Halo installments (such as Halo 3 or Halo Reach), Alan Wake, Fable II or Forza Motorsport 3, among other great titles that came to one of the consoles most loved by video game fans in general and by Microsoft fans in particular.
