Sony Playstation 5 :
The global pandemic of COVID-19 that our planet has been suffering since last year is wreaking havoc in many sectors of our society and in all kinds of industries. Of course, the cinema is one of them and the film companies are having real headaches to be able to premiere their productions on the big screen, which is translating into a constant dance of dates, tapes that go directly to video-on-demand services and very discreet box office numbers.
A new delay
Now Sony Pictures has announced that Monster hunter, the movie of Paul WS Anderson (Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat) inspired by Capcom’s popular monster hunting saga, not arriving this month as planned and its new release date in the cinemas of Spain is set for March 26, coincidentally the same day as Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch hit stores, which could be a necessary push for the film.
This is nothing but a new delay of the many that has suffered a tape that in theory should have been released in these parts last year, something that finally could not be.
Milla Jovovich against the monsters
Monster hunter starring Milla Jovovich, who will play Artemis, a military woman who ends up arriving in a world parallel to ours in which great and powerful creatures inhabit. Its cast includes names like TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Tony Jaa and Ron Perlman.
In Vandal we recently published an interview with Paul WS Anderson himself, in which the director He explained to us all the challenges and difficulties involved in adapting a video game saga as beloved and unique as this one to the big screen.
