Electronic Arts has announced through a press release that Star Wars: Squadrons will be updated for free on PC, Xbox One and PS4 with a new map, two ships, customization components for the different vehicles in the game and a custom game mode. These contents will arrive in two phases: one in November and one in December.

Next Wednesday’s update November 25 add map Port Fostar, one of “the favorite locations of the fans of the saga”. The map will be available in both multiplayer modes, Melee and Fleet Battles. The patch will also add various components for ships, “including a booster upgrade kit, rockets, armor-piercing prototype torpedoes, and an antimatter rocket turret.”

In December, on an unspecified day, the second update will be released with two new starfighters. The New Republic will receive the A / SF-01, also known as B-wing. Members of the Imperial Navy will be able to pilot the starfighter TIE / d defender. The two ships will arrive accompanied by custom games mode, which allows you to create private games in both Melee and Fleet Battle modes.

The previous Squadrons content update occurred on October 28, when sum elements of The Mandalorian coinciding with the premiere of the second season of the Disney + series.
