PS5 : Rainbow Six Siege is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S at 120 FPS and up to 4K upscaling

Ubisoft Spain has recalled through an official press release that the next-gen version from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, offering technical and performance improvements compared to the version of the old generation of consoles. All those who already had the game on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to update free to this version, also keeping your progress and all additional items acquired.

As we already know, the next generation version of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege work on PS5 and Xbox Series X at a rate of 120 fps and you can reach a maximum resolution up to 4K with rendering scale. This last feature is not compatible with Xbox Series S. Also included cross game between platforms of the same family, although not with consoles from the other ecosystem.

Year 5 Season 4 Now Available

The company has also recalled that Operation Neon DawnTom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, the final season of Year 5, is out now and brings with it a new agent, a redesign for the Skyscraper map, and new accessibility settings. Additionally, Year 5 Season 4 will bring back the Battle Pass, which is available from now until February 22.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege new agent is Aruni, which stands out for its special equipment Suria Laser Gate– This tool allows you to place laser doors on walls, hatches, doors and windows, causing damage to both attackers and their devices while defenders can freely pass through them. Aruni is also equipped with a P10 RONI or MK 14 EBR as primary weapons, and the PRB92 beltgun as secondary weapon.

Those who have the Year 5 Pass can play with Aruni now, while the rest of the players will be able to unlock this new character from the December 8 using recognition points or R6 credits. The rest of the additional content, such as the redesign of the Skyscraper map, is available to all players for free.
