The long-awaited event inspired by the creatures of Generation I Pokémon is scheduled for this Saturday, February 20. Although the event will only last half a day, the trainers will be able to continue with the party, as Niantic will continue with the festivities with an event that will begin on Sunday, February 21 until Pokémon Day, on Saturday, February 27, at 8:00 PM (local time).

Team GO Rocket plans something

If you think that’s it, wait, the week will end with a special event involving Team GO Rocket and many Raids. This event will take place on February 28 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM (local time) and will be inspired by Kanto’s Pokémon Raids, precisely, of its legendary creatures, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo.

Apparently players will not be able to enjoy this event freely, as Team GO Rocket is up to something and reports indicate that Giovanni, the maximum leader of Team Rocket will return and will do so with a different dark legendary Pokémon. No details have been revealed, but Niantic anticipated that there will be a new special investigation to be able to rescue this creature. Therefore, we recommend you not to miss this event and that you log in during the period to be able to register the investigation.

Another interesting detail is that during the event players will be able to find up to 5 free Raid Passes by spinning photodisks. You can also take the opportunity to defeat many members of Team GO Rocket, since in that period they will appear more frequently in PokéStops and balloons. Finally, you should know that during these 3 hours you can use MT of charged attack so that the Dark Pokémon forget the Frustration attack.
